TSA Week
TSA Week at Riverwatch was an exciting event for all members of TSA. Every day, there was a different theme or prize for members to redeem throughout the week. On Monday, October 6th, members had to wear red or blue to represent the TSA colors, take a picture, and send it to the club director, Mrs. Pegues. On Tuesday, October 7th, members had to stop by the TSA room to answer a trivia question. If they got it right, they would earn candy. On Wednesday, October 8th, members would have to stop by the TSA room, as there was a wheel with different prizes on it that they could spin. Whichever prize the wheel landed on, they would receive. On Thursday, October 9th, TSA members would stop by the TSA room to wish Mrs. Pegues happy birthday. If they did this, they would receive a prize. On Friday, October 10th, members had to introduce a friend to TSA by bringing them to the TSA room. If they did this, both the member and the friend would receive a treat. This event was really fun for the members of TSA and the entire school, and more people showed interest in TSA after this. This was a nice experience for all the members and they started to get more involved with leadership after TSA Week.
TSA Movie Night
TSA Movie night was a fun event that took place after school. Students would come to the TSA room after dismissal and stay there to watch a movie of choice, which was Hotel Transylvania in this case. At movie night, there were snacks and refreshments for anyone who attended. This event was a fun way to socialize with others, as the event was open to the whole school. Many people attended with their friends and even made new ones during the movie. Everyone who attended the movie had lots of fun, as they could either watch the movie, hang out with friends, or socialize with others. Overall, this event increased the member involvement and more people started to show up for the monthly meetings. There were also more members who participated in the activities and showed more interest in the activities there. The movie night was a fin way to bring members together and show them how fun TSA can be. This event also really helped make TSA feel like more of a team. Many people met each other for the first time at movie night and got to know each other.
