Membership Recruitment Project: Club Carnival

The membership recruitment program that is used for Riverwatch TSA is Club Carnival. This event takes place in the gym and there are volunteers from leadership that are stationed at the TSA stand. Their job is to inform the 6th and 7th graders about the chapter. Volunteers will answer questions, give information, hand out fliers, and advertise the club. Over 80 people joined TSA because of this program because of the information that we provided them at this event. These 80 people were introduced to all of the benefits that TSA offers, and therefore, this event grew our membership and encouraged members to participate in competitions, meetings, and other events. The Club Carnival at Riverwatch Middle School is an incredibly important event to recruit members for all clubs in our school, however, as this year marks the year that TSA begins to expand, this event was crucial to facilitating the development of TSA at Riverwatch.
