Service Project: Coins for a Cause
The service project that Riverwatch TSA is participating in this year is Coins for a Cause. Coins for a Cause is a fundraising project for the American Red Cross. There were various TSA members that were stationed at school in the morning to help raise money for this cause, as it is vital. The American Red Cross is the TSA national service partner as of 2025, which is why this fundraiser was arranged. Coins for a Cause raised $205 at Riverwatch alone, as it was extremely successful. Many students decided to donate their money, earning a piece of candy or a raffle ticket, which was an exciting incentive for everyone. Overall, this service project was a success, as there was lots of money raised for the American Red Cross, and all volunteers and participants had fun.
Volunteer reviews:
Divijaa - Helping out with Coins for a Cause was really fun and it felt good knowing that it was for a good cause. I am so happy that so many people decided to donate.
Anahita - Coins for a Cause was a wonderful experience. I learned how to communicate with others, help the community, and learned how to interact with others. I also learned how to operate under pressure when there were many people trying to donate money. I felt very happy about the fact that I was helping people in need too! This was an exhilarating experience,
