Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence, or CORE
CORE, or Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence, is a leadership development conference. This is held at the Kaplan Mitchell Retreat and Conference Center in Clayton, Georgia. This area has no cell service or wifi, making it a true retreat. Leadership members are able to hone their leadership skills here, as well as explore the art of personal growth, teamwork, and strategic planning for the upcoming chapter.
This conference was a very fun way to disconnect a grow for a couple of days. Our members had a great time. Here are some reviews from the people who went:

Technology Day
Technology Day is a fun event that allows students to showcase their skills through various competitive events while also enjoying themselves at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA. There are a variety of competitions, some of which are required to be submitted earlier in September at the CORE retreat. These events allow for a fun and competitive atmosphere at the fair.

Six Flags
Six flags is a conference that takes place at the Six Flags park, which lets competitors go on rides and enjoy the park. There are only a few competitions for this conference, all of which include some kind of design. Six flags is one of the funnest conferences in the year, as well as being competitive. This conference can be taken in place of Technology Day, as both cannot be taken by the same person.

Fall Leadership Conference, or FLC
FLC, or Fall Leadership Conference, is a fun, enticing conference that allows leadership members to explore and develop new, inventive ideas. FLC focuses on leadership skills, communication, and team building skills by attending hands-on workshops, seminars and general sessions. The competitions and events at FLC are overall very exciting, enticing ways to practice hands on skills.

SLC, or State Leadership Conference, offers several competitions that help competitors develop skills in technology, engineering, problem solving, quick thinking, leadership, and so much more. SLC offers fun, challenging events that allow competitors to learn and grow while also actively competing with others. The conference is located in Athens, Georgia at the University of Georgia Classic Center. This conference takes place from March 18th to the 21st. Competitors who perform exceptionally in certain events have a chance to participate in the National TSA Conference.

State Leadership Conference, or SLC
National Leadership Conference, or NLC
The National Leadership Conference is an event where competitors that passed the qualifications at the state conference come to compete for nationals. The competitions here are the same ones as the state conference, as the competitors are participating in the next advancement of their competition here. This event takes place a walking distance from Washington D.C. and is an amazing place for competitors to sightsee and explore. Students stay in the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, which has lots of fun activities to participate in, while also being a short distance from the airport. Competitors strive to qualify for nationals every year, bringing a competitive edge to the event.
